Warner Bros. Batman

It was the 75th anniversary of Batman in 2014, and the new Arkham Knight game was coming out. Warner Bros asked VICE to curate a group of artists to paint life-size Batman capes and cowls. I did a whole lot of research, and came up with a whole bunch of ideas, as usual, but settled on creating version of the famous superhero in my signature color palette. I think the crisp lines and bright colors really make this piece stand out. As you can see, VICE filmed a little piece about my involvement in the project. The collection of one-of-a-kind pieces was unveiled during San Diego Comic Con in July 2014 and then toured around, delighting fans of the winged crusader.
